Xolisani ‘Nomeva’ Ndongeni’s fight against American boxer Hank Lundy has been moved to 10 April.
Initially, Ndongeni’s duel with the 37-year-old American was pencilled for Florida on 13 March.
“I have just been told that the fight is going to be in April probably in Texas. This gives me more time to prepare for the fight,” Ndongeni said.
This is going to be the second time the 30-year-old former International Boxing Organisation (IBO) lightweight champion fights in America.
KwaBhaca-born Ndongeni lost to current World Boxing Council (WBC) lightweight champion Devin Haney in January 2019. Ndongeni and Haney were fighting for the WBC International and World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Intercontinental lightweight titles at the time.
