Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt is worried about what is happening between the sticks.
Amakhosi have serious goalkeeping problems, which have brought Hunt some headaches.
It was the same goalkeeping errors, which saw Chiefs slump to a third straight loss when they were beaten 2-1 by AmaZulu in a DStv Premiership match at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec on Wednesday afternoon.
After losing to arch-rivals Orlando Pirates and GladAfrica Championship side Richards Bay FC with Daniel Akpeyi in goals, Hunt brought in Itumeleng Khune during the Usuthu clash hoping his team’s goalkeeping woes were going to end.
However, that move didn’t help as Khune committed a mistake, which resulted in Chiefs losing the match.
“It’s a big concern since I have been here. This is something we must keep working on. It’s s big concern, it’s been a problem. I thought it was the right time to bring him (Khune),” Hunt said.
Amakhosi, who are going to face SuperSport United at the FNB Stadium on Saturday (15h00), have conceded 19 goals against the 16 they have scored in 16 matches.
