Award-winning Andre Thysse is going to appear before a Boxing South Africa (BSA) disciplinary committee on Tuesday.
Thysse, who traded under Real Steel Promotions when he was still a promoter, was dragged before a BSA DC almost two weeks ago after he was charged with violating COVID-19 regulations.
This came after Thysse, who is now a boxers manager, attended a tournament which was promoted by Jackie Brice in Cape Town last December.
The former South African super-middleweight champion attended the tournament to support his boxer Josh Pretorius during a then vacant South African heavyweight title fight against eventual winner Tian Fick.
Before appearing availing himself for the DC, the 2016 Promoter of the Year award winner vowed to fight BSA saying he won’t be silenced.
