Kaizer Chiefs’ path to the top-eight bracket of the DStv Premiership table is getting rockier by the day. 
Amakhosi were beaten 2-1 by Cape Town City at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec on Wednesday evening. 
Tashreeq Morris and Bradley Ralani scored for the Citizens while Kearyn Baccus netted for Chiefs. 
As a result of the loss, Amakhosi are stuck on 11th position on the Premiership table with 25 points from 22 games while the Citizens are seventh with 33 points in 23 matches. 
Meanwhile, Lamontville Golden Arrows beat SuperSport United 1-0 through Nduduzo Sibiya’s goal at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville.
