Lamontville Golden Arrows proved too good for TS Galaxy as they beat them 3-0 in a DStv Premiership encounter at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Clermont, Durban, on Wednesday afternoon.
Abafana Bes’thende scored their first goal through Michael Gumede in the seventh minute. That was Gumede’s sixth goal of the season.
Action swung from one end to the other after Arrows had taken the lead. It was, however, Arrows, who scored when Pule Mmodi netted his third goal of the season to make it 2-0 in the 32nd minute.
Abafana Bes’thende’s third goal came from Ntsako Makhubela, who netted his third strike of the season, in the 62nd minute.
Match referee Christopher Kistoor reduced Arrows to 10 men when he red carded Nduduzo Sibiya for a second bookable offence in the 89th minute.
