CAF Champions League finalists Kaizer Chiefs have appointed Kaizer Motaung Junior as their sporting director.
The Naturena-based club announced the former striker’s appointment on Thursday morning.
The 39-year-old Motaung Junior, who retired from playing in 2014, has been part of Amakhosi’s administration for some time.
“I’m thankful to the chairman, Ntate Motaung, for the honour and opportunity to serve the club at this level. This appointment is a clear indication of his belief in my abilities, which I don’t take fie granted,” Motaung Junior said.
Meanwhile, Amakhosi’s transfer ban ended on Wednesday and are now free to sign any player they want.
