Bafana Bafana caretaker coach Morena Ramoreboli has an advantage over Lesotho’s Likuena.
This is so because Ramoreboli has worked with most of the Likuena players. Ramoreboli is going to lead Bafana when they clash with Likuena in a COSAFA Cup encounter at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha on Tuesday.
And Ramoreboli expects Likuena to put up some resistance against Bafana, who have won their two matches.
“It’s gonna be another difficult game playing Lesotho. I’ve worked there and I know almost each an every player,” Ramoreboli said.
“I know that they will try to come and prove a point. So it’s gonna be a very, very competitive game. But I’m happy we have almost all the players we requested and I think we have tried our level best to prepare well. We want to make sure we at least improve in certain aspects, which I believe the Lesotho game will give us a clear picture of what we have.”
Ramoreboli has a full strength squad going into the Likuena match and is happy about that.
“This adds to the confidence and belief that we can go through. I believe that it is important to concentrate much on this upcoming game against Lesotho because it is a game we have to win and make sure we qualify for the knockout stage,” Ramoreboli said.
Bafana have won their matches against Botswana (1-0) and eSwatini (1-0) while Likuena have beaten Zambia 2-1 and lost to eSwatini (3-1) and Botswana (4-0)
