Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane has described his club’s match against struggling El Entag El Harby as a fun game.
The Red Devils came from behind to beat El Entag, who are stone last on the Egyptian Premier League standings, 3-2 on Sunday evening.
Ali Maaloul, Hussein El Shahat and Walter Bwalya netted for the Red Devils while El Entag’s goals came from Tarek Abu El Ezz and Moustafa El Badry.
“It was a fun game. We deal with current conditions professionally. We will fight to settle the league,” the former Mamelodi Sundowns coach said.
Mosimane’s boys are, as a result of the win, breathing heavily on log-leaders Zamalek’s necks. The Red Devils have collected 55 points from 27 matches while Zamalek have 61 points after playing two more games than them.
Al Ahly face Aswan on Thursday and then play against Wadi Degla next Monday. Aswan are 16th on the Egyptian Premier League table while Degla are one place below them.
