Sokwakhana Zazini qualified for the 400-metre hurdles semi-finals after finishing third during the heats at the Tokyo Olympics in Japan early on Friday morning.
The 21-year-old university student clocked 49,51 at the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo. Zazini from Burgersdorp in the Eastern Cape is a former world champion in both Under-18s and Under-20s.
