Kaitano Tembo is expecting a tough match when his team SuperSport United clash against Lamontville Golden Arrows in an MTN8 quarter-final encounter at the Princess Magogo Stadium at 15h00 on Saturday.
The Matsatsantsa a Pitori coach does not want Abafana Bes’thende to repeat what they did to them last season.
“Arrows is going to be a tough game. They took six points from us last season. It’s not gonna be an easy game,” Tembo said.
The former Seven Stars and Matsatsantsa defender has admitted that it was a little bit tough during preseason as he didn’t have the full complement of his players.
“I think it’s good to be back. The guys have been doing well during preseason,” he said.
“They have been working very hard. It’s been a little bit tough. When we started we didn’t have the full complement of players. Others were representing their countries at the COSAFA Cup and others were in the Olympics.”
Despite that, the former Zimbabwe international believes that he’s got a good team.
“The team looks good. We played a couple of friendly games,” Tembo said.
