Rulani Mokwena expects a fight when his team Mamelodi Sundowns come up against Lamontville Golden Arrows in the first MTN8 semi-final on Saturday.
The Brazilians are going to face Abafana Bes’thende in the first leg at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Clermont, Durban, at 15h00.
“Traditionally, Arrows have a very distinct way of playing. They play with a bit more exuberance,” the Sundowns co-coach remarked.
“Even when they try to have some organisational form they try to maintain the flair and expressive ability of their players. Sometimes that’s where the difficulty is.”
Mokwena has admitted that Arrows have what it takes to give Sundowns headaches on Saturday.
“They’ve got a very good team. It’s a team that will give you a lot of problems,” he said.
After Saturday, the two teams will clash again in the second leg next month.
