Banyana Banyana have had a brilliant start at the Aisha Buhari Cup beating Ghana 3-0 in their opening match at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium in Lagos, Nigeria, on Friday evening. 
Hilda Magaia, Thembi Kgatlana and Sibulele Holweni scored Banyana Banyana’s goals. 
Banyana Banyana started the game like a house on fire taking the match to the Black Queens. Magaia’s attempt was cleared off the line in the eighth minute. 
Magaia finally found the back of the net when she headed in from a rebound. This was after Kgatlana had beaten Black Queens goalkeeper Dumehasi Fafali only to be denied by the crossbar in the 18th minute. 
Both sides launched attacks into each other’s territory after Banyana Banyana had opened the scoring. 
After leading 1-0 at half time, Banyana Banyana added a second goal through Kgatlana’s solo effort in the 53rd minute. 
Kgatlana beat her marker before rounding the Black Queens goalkeeper to score her 20th goal in Banyana Banyana colours. 
The final nail to the Black Queens’ coffin was drilled by Holweni in the 84th minute.
