Mamelodi Sundowns co-coaches Manqoba Mngqithi and Rulani Mokwena have won the Coach of the Month award for August and September.
Mngqithi and Mokwena led the Brazilians to five wins and a draw scoring 11 goals. The Tshwane giants are yet to concede.
The Sundowns co-coaches beat Royal AM’s John Maduka and Kaitano Tembo of SuperSport United to the award.
On the other hand, Sundowns striker Peter Shalulile won the Player of the Month for August/September.
The Namibian international, who scored five goals in six games, beat his teammates Rivaldo Coetzee and Denis Onyango as well as Royal AM striker Victor Letsoalo.
Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates’ Deon Hotto won the Goal of the Month award for his strike in a match against Stellenbosch FC.
