Jonathan Amalcen from the Philippines and Zimbabwean Chiedza Homakoma are due to arrive in South Africa on Tuesday next week.

Almacen is coming to South Africa to square up against former International Boxing Organisation (IBO) minimumweight champion Simphiwe Konkco in a 10-rounder at the Booysens Boxing Gym on Sunday, 24 October.

The 22-year-old Almacen, a World Boxing Council (WBC) Asia Silver minimumweight titlist, visits South Africa for the second time this year. He lost to Hekkie Budler at the same venue in May.

Meanwhile, Homakoma has a date with Hedda Wolmarans in a vacant World Boxing Organisation (WBO) junior-welterweight female title fight in the same bill.
