Gavin Hunt has admitted that he’s looking over his shoulders as results are difficult to come by at his club Chippa United.

The Chilli Boys were humiliated 4-0 by Kaizer Chiefs in a DStv Premiership match at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec, Johannesburg, on Saturday evening.

This was the Gqeberha-based Chilli Boys’ fourth loss of the season against a win and two draws.

“I experienced it for the the first time in my career last year,” the 57-year-old Chilli Boys coach said referring to his sacking by Chiefs last season.

“I don’t work like that. I try to work for longevity. The club will be in a good stature, but we need a bit of time.”

Hunt believes that the scoreline wouldn’t have been that big had they buried the chances they had before Amakhosi scored their first goal.

“I thought we got more than enough chances. We would have been 2-0 up before they scored,” Cape Town-born Hunt said.

Meanwhile, Hunt has revealed that Phakamani Mahlambi and Rodney Ramagalela are out injured and won’t play until the end of the season.
