TP Mazembe beat Marumo Gallants 1-0 in a first leg CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round match at the Stade TP Mazembe in Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo, on Sunday afternoon.
The Congolese giants benefitted from a Lehlohonolo Nonyane own goal just before half-time.
The two sides are going to meet again in the second leg, which is going to be at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane at 15h30 next Sunday.
