TS Galaxy came from behind to beat Chippa United 3-1 in a DStv Premiership encounter at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on Tuesday evening.

Bienvenu Eva Nga put the Chilli Boys ahead in the sixth minute after the Gqeberha-based club had kept the Rockets under pressure.

The goal didn’t dampen the Rockets’ spirits as they surged forward looking for an equaliser. And the equaliser came in the 17th minute when Mthobisi Mngomezulu pounced on a loose ball after Chilli Boys goalkeeper Ayanda Mtshali had failed to handle Marks Munyai’s cross.

The Chilli Boys were forced to make a change when their striker Jemondre Dickens was stretchered off the field. Dickens was replaced by Maloisane Mokhele in the 32nd minute.

Second half substitute Menzi Ndwandwe made it 2-1 from the penalty spot in the 84th minute. Match referee Nkululeko Siyeni awarded the Rockets a penalty after Azola Matrose had fouled Wayde Lekay inside the box.

Lekay scored the Rockets’ third goal with a beautiful left-footed strike from a Ndwandwe pass in added time.
