Tanzanian boxer Iddi Kayumba whose birth name is Iddi Mustafa Ally Said has arrived in South Africa to fight against two-time world champion Zolani ‘Last Born’ Tete.

The Tanzanian faces the former International Boxing Federation (IBF) junior-bantamweight and World Boxing Organisation (WBO) bantamweight titlist in a 10 rounder at the Booysens Boxing Gym in Johannesburg on Sunday.

Said was due to have faced Lerato Dlamini in Gqeberha in April, but that fight didn’t take place. Dlamini ended up fighting against Hassan Milanzi from Zimbabwe.

Meanwhile, this is going to be the first time the 33-year-old Mdantsane-born Tete fights in the junior-featherweight division.
