Imagine being a 20-year-old youngster playing for a struggling side, that’s exactly what Zuko Mdunyelwa is experiencing at the moment.

The Chippa United defender is in his first season in the professional ranks and finds himself under pressure as the Chilli Boys are struggling.

Mdunyelwa is hoping things will change when the Chilli Boys face AmaZulu in a DStv Premiership encounter at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha on Saturday (15h30).

“The coach has told us of what AmaZulu are capable of. We also know what AmaZulu are capable of. But we are not gonna focus more on that, we are gonna focus on what we have in camp,” Mdunyelwa said.

Saturday’s match is more like a dry run for both clubs as they are going to meet again in Durban on Tuesday next week.

“This game is important, next week we are playing them again in Durban. It’s very important for us to get the three points,” Mdunyelwa said.

The Chilli Boys are 15th on the Premiership standings with 10 points from 13 matches while Usuthu are eighth with 19 points after playing 15 games.
