Gabon open the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament with a 1-0 win over debutants Comoros Islands at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde, Cameroon, on Monday evening.
A first half goal scored by Aaron Boupendza was enough to give the West Africans the win over the islanders.
