Nigeria’s Super Eagles had a positive start at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament following a 1-0 win over Egypt in a Group D match at the Roumde Adjia Stadium in Garoua, Cameroon, on Tuesday evening.

The Pharaohs attacked relentlessly in both halves, but failed to breach the solid Super Eagles defence.
