Ghana’s Black Stars drew 1-1 with Gabon in an Africa Cup of Nations Group C clash at Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo in Yaounde, Cameroon, on Friday evening.

Andre Ayew gave the Black Stars the lead when he netted in the 18th minute to become the first Ghanaian to score 10 goals in AFCON history.

After losing to Morocco in the group opener, it looked the Black Stars were going to get their first win of the tournament until Panthers levelled through substitute Jim Allevinah in the 88th minute.

The Black Stars face Comoros in their final group stages match on Tuesday next week while the Panthers clash with Morocco at the same time on the same day.
