The Stallions of Burkina Faso have reached the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations tournament after they defeated Tunisia 1-0 at the Roumde Adjia Stadium in Garoua, Cameroon, on Saturday evening.

Dango Ouattara’s goal in added time of the first half helped the Stallions kick the Carthage Eagles out of the tournament.

Ouattara turned from hero to villain when he was red carded for elbowing Carthage Eagles defender Ali Maaloul in the 82nd minute.

Meanwhile, the Stallions are going to face the winner between Senegal and Equitorial Guinea, who meet in another quarter-final clash on Sunday.
