Sabelo Ngebiyana’s trainer Bruno Pereira has revealed that his boxer is feeling great after making the required weight before Saturday’s fight against Namibian Fillipus Nghitumbwa in Namibia.

Komani-born Ngebiyana challenges Nghitumbwa for his World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Global junior-featherweight title in Ramatex, Windhoek, Namibia.

Ngebiyana, who arrived in Namibia on Tuesday, will be looking for his third win of the year as he has won his two fights so far.

The former South African junior-bantamweight champion registered a fifth round stoppage of Briton Ashley Sexton in London in April and then went on to become the first boxer to defeat previously unbeaten Mzuvukile Magwaca in Sandton, Johannesburg, in July.

Meanwhile, this is Nghitumbwa’s second defence of the title he won when he beat South African boxer Innocent Mantengu last October.

Nghitumbwa, 26, successfully defended his title with a stoppage win over Tanzanian Said Chino seven months ago.
