Orlando Pirates returned to second place after they came from behind to beat Cape Town City 2-1 in a DStv Premiership match at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto on Saturday afternoon.

Mthatha-born forward Khanyisa Mayo gave the Citizens the lead when he beat Pirates goalkeeper Sipho Chaine with a ground shot in the 18th minute. 

The Buccaneers, who had been dominating since the beginning of the match, finally equalised when Terrence Dzvukamanja headed in in the 27th minute. Monnapule Saleng gave the Soweto giants the lead when he picked the spot to score his 10th goal of the season in the 76th minute.
