A ruthless Mamelodi Sundowns thrashed CR Belouizdad 4-1 in a CAF Champions League quarter-final first leg encounter at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Algiers, Algeria, on Saturday evening. 

Namibian hitman Peter Shalulile scored a brace while the Brazilians’ other goals were netted by Neo Maema and Cassius Mailula with Miloud Rebiai scoring for the Algerians.

This emphatic away victory means that the Tshwane giants will be in pole position when they go to the second leg, which is going to be played in Pretoria next Saturday.
