Kaizer Chiefs have qualified for the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals following a 3-0 drubbing of Chippa United at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec, Johannesburg, on Saturday evening.

Amakhosi opened the scoring through former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Gaston Sirino in the 13th minute. And Angolan Inacio Miguel made it 2-0 from the penalty spot in the 77th minute.

Match referee Akhona Makalima awarded Amakhosi the penalty after Chilli Boys goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali had fouled Mduduzi Shabalala inside the box.

Amakhosi scored their third goal through Pule Mmodi after Nwabali had failed to hold on to the ball following Ranga Chivaviro’s attempt in the 89th minute.
