Stellenbosch FC held Mamelodi Sundowns to a 1-1 draw in a Betway Premiership match at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Wednesday evening.
The Tshwane giants led 1-0 at the end of the first half through Katlego Ntsabeleng’s 27th minute goal from Arthur Sales’ assist.
And Sundowns led for almost any hour before Stellies equalised through Tshegofatso Mabasa’s converted penalty in the 85th minute after Chumani Butsaka was brought down by Khulumani Ndamane inside the box.
