Just a few days after they received a 5-0 hammering from Japan, Banyana Banyana turned the tables on the Japanese beating them 1-0 in the second international friendly match played at the J-Green Sakai Sports Complex in Sakai on Tuesday morning, South African time.
Linda Motlhalo out jumped everyone and headed home from a corner kick by Refiloe Jane, who was making her 150th appearance for Banyana, in the ninth minute.
The Japanese had changed their team considerably hoping to repeat what they did to Banyana last Saturday. However, it was never to be as Banyana held their own against their much-vaunted opponents.
