Comoros sent Ghana packing from the Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon after they beat the Black Stars 3-2 at the Roumde Adjia Stadium in Garoua on Tuesday evening.
The Islanders were quick off the mark scoring their first goal of the tournament through Ben Nabouhane in the fourth minute.
Things went from bad to worse for the Black Stars when their captain Andre Ayew was sent off for a studs up challenge on Salim Ben Boina in the 25th minute.
The Islanders doubled their lead when Ahmed Mogni scored in the 62nd minute.
The Black Stars pulled one back in the 64th minute through Richmond Boakye and Alexander Djiku levelled matters in the 76th minute.
However, Comoros were not done yet with the Black Stars as Mogni completed his brace five minutes from time to ensure that Ghana finished last in their group.
