Cape Town City have signed Venezuelan midfielder Darwin Gonzalez from Deportivo La Guaira in Venezuela.
The 27-year-old South American is not new to African football as he once played for Etoile du Sahel in Tunisia where he scored six goals in 36 matches.
Meanwhile, the Citizens have lost the services of Surprise Ralani, Abbubaker Mobara, Abdul Ajagun and Fagrie Lakay.
Ralani joined Mamelodi Sundowns while Mobara is now an AmaZulu player with Ajagun having joined Al Hilal in Sudan and Lakay is with Pyramids FC in the Egyptian Premier League.
