The Springboks’ bad luck in Australia continued as they were beaten 25-17 by the Wallabies at the Adelaide Oval on Saturday.
The loss means that the Boks have not won a match in Australia in nine years. The Boks last won in Australia in 2013 when they beat the Wallabies 34-12 at Suncorp.
Fraser McReight scored two tries with the third coming from Marika Koroibete and Noah Lolesio succeeded in two conversions.
The Boks’ two tries came from Kwagga Smith while Elton Jantjies and Jaden Hendrikse converted with Handre Pollard converting a penalty.
