It rained goals as Cameroon and Serbia drew 3-3 in a 2022 FIFA World Cup finals group stages clash at the Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah, Qatar, on Monday afternoon.

It looked like the Indomitable Lions were dead and buried when the Serbians led 3-1 eight minutes into the second half. But things changed when second half substitute Vincent Aboubakar netted in the 63rd minute and also created Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting’s 66th minute goal.

With everyone having failed to clear the ball following a corner, Jean-Charles Castelletto came from nowhere to net for the Indomitable Lions in the 29th minute.

Lapse in concentration towards the end of the first half resulted in Cameroon conceding two goals as the Serbians scored through Strahinja Pavlović and and Sergej Milinković-Savić.

Serbia’s Aleksandar Mitrovic made it 3-1 in the 53rd minute and this goal led many football followers to believe that it was over for the Indomitable Lions.
