A new date has been set for the rematch between current African Boxing Union (ABU) light-heavyweight champion Luvuyo Sizani and Lebogang Moshitoa.
After spending some time being the only boxer rated in the light-heavyweight division, Sizani will now clash with Moshitoa in a South African title.
Initially, Sizani from Ilinge in Komani was scheduled to face off with Moshitoa in Johannesburg on Thursday, 23 February. The new date for the fight has now been confirmed as Thursday, 30 March in Durban.
The 27-year-old Sizani, who stopped Moshitoa during their first fight in March 2021, has won all his seven fights with three of his opponents failing to finish the scheduled rounds and his last fight was a win over Rowan Campbell four months ago.
Currently, Moshitoa is rated number three in the cruiserweight and will drop down to the light-heavyweight division just to fight up against Sizani.
The 26-year-old Moshitoa last fought when he defeated Youssef Mwanza Kasongo from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in November.
