Ayanda Ndulani’s dream to challenge for the World Boxing Council (WBC) minimumweight title went up in smoke as he was blasted by Mexican boxer Luis  ‘Fletchita’ Castillo at the Flamingo Cancun Resort in Mexico on Saturday morning, South African time.

The unbeaten Castillo didn’t give Ndulani a chance to warm up as he decked him in the first round. Ndulani tried, but his attempts were not good enough as Castillo finally stopped him in the fourth round.

Meanwhile, the 25-year-old Castillo is now in line to challenge for the WBC minimumweight title, which is held by Thailand’s Panya Pradabsri who is also known as Petchmanee CP Freshmart.
