There is nothing that Ayabulela Konqobe would love than bagging three points when Chilli Boys play against Maritzburg United in an away DStv Premiership match the Harry Gwala Stadium on Saturday (17h00).
Both the Chilli Boys and the Team of Choice are desperate for points as they meet in a six pointer.
“It’s gonna be another tough game. I also believe that as a team we can focus on ourselves. We need the results,” the Chilli Boys defender-cum-midfielder said.
“We have been working hard at training. We are looking at a good start as we have had a few bad starts. The three points are crucial. A point is the last thing we can think of.”
The 13th-placed Chilli Boys beat the Team of Choice 3-1 in a first round match played at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha earlier this season.
The Chilli Boys desperately need a win as they have not won a Premiership match since their 3-0 victory over Black Leopards two months ago. On the other hand, the Team of Choice beat TS Galaxy 2-0 in their last match played before the FIFA break.
