Lamontville Golden Arrows’ impressive run continued as they beat Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 to make sure that Amakhosi caretaker coach Cavin Johnson had a bad start.

Abafana Bes’thende took the lead when Zimbabwean Knox Mutizwa netted in the 19th minute. Mutizwa scored after Amakhosi goalkeeper Brandon Petersen had fumbled the ball inside the box.
Four minutes later, defender Sifiso Hlanti equalised for Chiefs following a pass from Edson Castillo.
Mutizwa completed his brace when he slotted past Petersen following a nice pass from Nduduzo Sibiya nine minutes into the second half.
