Mamelodi Sundowns beat Egyptian side Al Ahly 1-0 in an African Football League semi-final first leg at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Sunday afteroon.
After a goalless first half, Thapelo Maseko, formerly with SuperSport United, scored the Brazilians’ all-important goal in the 52nd minute.
The two sides are going to play against each other in the second leg at the Cairo International Stadium in Egypt at 20h00 on Wednesday.
