Chippa United midfielder Goodman Mosele is back in the Bafana Bafana frame after coach Hugo Broos announced his name in the 50-member preliminary squad for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Ivory Coast.

Klerksdorp-born Mosele, who is on loan from Orlando Pirates, has not been part of the Bafana squad in a while. 

Meanwhile, Broos also included a number of uncapped players in his preliminary squad, which is going to be whittled down to 23 players early next month before they leave for Ivory Coast.

The AFCON tournament is going to start on Saturday, 13 January and finish on Sunday, 11 February 2024.
