World boxing champion and Japanese boxer Kenshiro ‘The Amazing Boy’ Teraji beat Carlos Canizales by a majority decision at the Edion Arena in Osaka, Japan, on Tuesday.
As a result of Tuesday’s win, the 32-year-old Teraji successfully retained his World Boxing Association (WBA) ‘Super’ and World Boxing Council (WBC) junior-flyweight titles. The Japanese has now won 23 fights with 14 knockouts and one defeat.
On the other hand, that was the second career loss for the 30-year-old Venezualan, who once held the WBA junior-flyweight crown. Canizales dropped to 26 wins (19 stoppages), two losses and a draw.
