Kaitano Tembo keeps hoping for the best in the midst of his team SuperSport United continuing to play draws.
Matsatsantsa a Pitori registered their 11th draw of the season when they drew 1-1 with Baroka FC at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville on Saturday evening.
Kudakwashe Mahachi netted for Matsatsantsa while an own goal by Grant Kekana ensured that Bakgaga Ba Mphahlele returned to Limpopo with a point.
“Little bit disappointing. I thought we played well, scored a good goal, good combination play, good movements. We deserved something out of this match,” the Matsatsantsa coach said.
“Our Achilles Heel has been not scoring goals. One goal is not enough, especially when you are playing at home. You need to try and kill the game, we didn’t do that. A little bit disappointing, but we just have to soldier on and keep working hard. Probably, we will be able to turn it around because scoring goals has been a challenge for us.”
Matsatsantsa’s next match is against Nedbank Cup finalists Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila on Wednesday, 12 May.
“Against TTM at home, which is not going to be easy because of where they are at the moment. We need to try and dust ourselves and keep working hard. Probably, we will be able to turn it around because I think we’ve only four games to go, which is about 12 points to play for. I believe that if we keep playing the way are playing we will win some of the games,” Tembo said
