Cape Town City’s preparations for the 2024/25 season are continuing as they announced on Thursday morning that they had captured the signature of Kayden Francis.
The 21-year-old Francis signed a four-year contract with the Citizens after joining them from Eastern Cape club Chippa United.
“The club is delighted to announce it has reached a transfer agreement with Chippa United for the acquisition of Kayden Francis,” a Citizens statement said.
The Gqeberha-born midfielder had been with the Chilli Boys from their youth structures. He scored four goals in 19 appearances last season.
