Lerato ‘Lights Out’ Dlamini has re-signed with Colin ‘Nomakanjani’ Nathan’s NO DOUBT Management in partnership with Boxing 5 Promotions just less than a month before he fights against Japanese boxer Tomoki Kameda.

Rated number two by the International Boxing Federation (IBF) in the featherweight division, Dlamini clashes with Kameda in an elimination bout in Osaka, Japan, on Saturday, 24 August.

“I’m happy as long as I am with Colin,” the 29-year-old Welkom-born Dlamini, who has been with Nathan for eight years, said.

Nathan remarked: “Lerato has always shown his commitment and trust, along with tremendous loyalty. His work ethic is second to none, and he always gives 100 percent. I feel he is peaking in his career and I have no question in my mind that he beats Kameda again and goes on to become a world champion.

Speaking about Dlamini, Larry Wainstein from Boxing 5 said: “It shows the character of Lerato and the trust he has for Colin and us, who have been his manager for so many years. He trusts his judgement and guidance and look at what they have achieved together; he is now on the cusp of fighting for a world title. Lerato is a true professional, and the fighters who are starting out can learn from him.”
