Sikho ‘Sequence’ Nqothole from Mthatha has a date with Namibian boxerJafet Amukwa at a Boxing 5 tournament scheduled for the Box Camp Booysens in Johannesburg on Friday, 20 September.
Amukwa is the same boxer who was beaten by former International Boxing Federation (IBF) minimumweight champion Dee-Jay Kriel during his last visit to South Africa.
“I’m feeling so excited to be back in the ring and can’t wait to show my boxing skills. Yes, he is a tough opponent. I saw him when he fought Dee-Jay and he can take (punishment) and I will have to break him down slowly,” Nqothole said.
Nqothole will go to next month’s fight against Amukwa on the back of a loss he suffered to Mexican boxer Rene Calixto Babiano in Mexico three months ago.
