Marumo Gallants knocked defending champions Stellenbosch FC out of the Carling Knockout with a 1-0 win at the Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium in Mangaung on Sunday afternoon.
Siyabulela Shai headed in Gallants’ goal in the 17th minute to avenge a midweek loss to the Cape Winelands side.
On the other hand, Magesi continued with their giant killing act when they beat TS Galaxy 1-0 through Lehlohonolo Mokone’s 44th minute goal at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit.
