Mamelodi Sundowns eased past Sekhukhune United, beating them 3-0 in a Betway Betway Premiership match encounter at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Saturday evening.

The Tshwane giants, who are now number one on the Premiership standings, took the lead through Trésor Tshibwabwa Yamba Yamba in the 22nd minute. Brazilian Arthur de Oliveira Sales scored his first goal for Sundowns when he made it 2-0 four minutes into the second half and Iqraam Rayners put matters beyond Babina Noko’s reach in the 89th minute.

Meanwhile, Chippa United have moved up to third place on the Betway Premiership standings following a 2-0 victory over Magesi FC at the Buffalo City Stadium in East London on Saturday evening.

A brace by Sinoxolo Kwayiba was enough to give the Chilli Boys victory over the Carling Knockout champions. Kwayiba scored his first goal in the seventh minute and completed his brace just before the half-time break.
