Stellenbosch FC ended Orlando Pirates’ winning streak as they beat them 1-0 in a Betway Premiership encounter at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto on Sunday afternoon.
After absorbing pressure from the Buccaneers, Stellies scored through Devin Titus’ 33rd minute strike. The victory moved Stellies up to third place behind Pirates and first-placed Mamelodi Sundowns.
Meanwhile, Lamontville Golden Arrows defeated Cape Town City 3-2 in another Betway Premiership clash at the Mpumalanga Stadium in Hammersdale.
