Mamelodi Sundowns registered a very important away win as they beat Esperance Sportive de Tunis 1-0 in a CAF Champions League semi-final first leg match at the Races Stadium in Tunisia on Sunday evening.

A 51st minute headed goal from Brayan León after he was set up by Thapelo Morena was enough to give the Brazilians an advantage ahead of next weekend’s second leg encounter in Pretoria.

The Tshwane giants finished the match with 10 players after their defender Grant Kekana was shown a straight red card in the 86th minute.
