It was a perfect start for the Springboks in the Rugby Championship as they beat Argentina 32-12 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha on Saturday evening.
Flyhalf Elton Jantjies contributed 17 points following success with one conversion and five penalties.
The Boks scored three tries by Cobus Reinach, Aphelele Fassi and Jaden Hendrickse.
Nicholas Sanchez contributed the 12 points as he converted four penalties for the South Americans.
The two sides are going to meet again at the same Gqeberha venue next Saturday.
