The former world and South African female bantamweight champion from Dutywa in the Eastern Cape clashes with Capetonian Ntombokuqala Tolashe in a junior-lightweight eight-rounder at the Meropa Casino in Polokwane on Saturday, 25 September.
The award-winning former World Boxing Federation (WBF) female bantamweight champion, who delivered a knockout blow to COVID-19 early last month, has not fought since her win over Tanzanian Flora Machela almost two years ago.
On the other hand, Tolashe last fought when she lost to Nozipho Bell in a vacant SA female junior-lightweight contest in Gqeberha in July.
The 2016 and 2017 Female Boxer of the Year award winner’s fight against Tolashe forms part of the TLB Promotions tournament, which is going to be headlined by an SA female lightweight title contest between reigning champion Kholosa Ndobayini and Bonita van Jaarsveldt.
